Drive Serious Traffic With This Simple Craigslist Method
Yes craigslist has forums. Here's the link http://ny.craigslist.org/forums/
Switch out the NY with whatever city you choose, it doesn't matter which city as I will discuss later on.
First you must create a craigslist account, you do not have to verify a phone number for this method.
Find the most related discussion forums section related to your niche.
What you're going to do, is post a new thread with a catchy title, something that will attract clicks.
In your thread you're going to insert a simple link to your website with anchor text or just the website is fine. Of coarse accompanied by some quick useful information.
If you notice, at the top of the forum discussion you can see that you have the option to view forum postings in your city, or in ALL cities.
The default setting for this is ALL, which means when someone goes into a discussion forum, in ANY CITY, your thread will be visible. Pick a time of day with the most visibility/least forum postings and post your thread.
Here's a quick snapshot of what kind of traffic I get OVERNIGHT with one simple thread, one simple link. Notice I can't fit every city of craigslist bringing me traffic as there are hundreds!! Bringing hundreds of visitors daily when I use this tactic!
Each SPIKE in traffic, is when I implemented this method.
Now here's a snapshot of a forum where you may post a thread with a link to your website, which is visible to EVERY CITY ON CRAIGSLIST, ONE SIMPLE THREAD POSTING, ONE SIMPLE LINK, HUNDREDS OF UNIQUE VISITORS. Notice the ALL/cityname on top of image. Bicycling is just an example, there are dozens of discussion forums to choose from.
Keep in mind that after you create your required forum handle to post threads, you must wait 7 days until you can post a link in a thread or post.
HOWEVER, here's a sneaky little way of getting around that to get yourself some instant gratification....God I really hope the craigslist forums don't get totally spammed because of this thread...
Well anyways to get around this 7 day waiting period, simple enter your website link in the thread WITHOUT http://www. enter only yourdomain.com
Craigslist automatically parses link text with http://www. prefix, however without this they don't realize this is a link and forum visitors may still copy and paste your link.
Also...craigslist forum postings CAN BE FLAGGED AS SPAM so don't enter affiliate links unless its a cloaked redirect within your own domain.

The Way To Create Effective Google Site Map
You need to consider certain steps to ensure that you successfully get onto the Google map pages. This way, when a web surfer seeks a product or service, your business comes in the limelight on the search pages. This kind of optimization is similar to search engine optimization. If you are not confident of this concept, there is no need to get worried. There are companies that help you with Google site map creation and optimization.
Benefits Of Site Maps
One of the benefits of opting for Google site map is that your business gets a face that the whole world can see. Usually, it’s advisable to stick to local searches confining to your state or city. This lets you get an appreciable response from prospective clients who are genuinely interested in doing business with you. It’s similar to posting an advertisement by referring to the local phone book.
It’s not necessary that you must know each and every concept of SEO and mapping. There are professionals who can help you in carrying out these tasks. They are apt in developing business listing within maps. And they are well versed with the tricks of the trade. They are familiar with the constantly changing world of the Web. In fact, their job is to work within this dynamic world and help your website emerge as the winner among millions.
Important
For creating Google site maps, the content as well as keywords of your website are important. One smart move would be to test a few keywords or phrases for a couple of weeks and then compare the results. Also, you must ensure that you develop a list of relevant factors. If you’re not confident of doing so, professionals can help you.
A thorough research is also the key to reaching your optimization goal. Check out the current listings on Google site maps. You can utilize them as templates. Once you begin creating maps, you get a fair idea of how the process gets going. And with the help of professionals, it gets easier and quicker to carry out map creation and optimization.
The Current Trend
Outsourcing the task of optimization to specialists has become the current trend today. Who has the time to learn the ropes of optimization when there are experts to do the job? It saves time, money, and energy. You can utilize all three in expanding your business rather than finding ways of optimizing your site. Creating maps and optimizing them is not rocket science. But yes, it does require a professional hand to do the job in a perfect manner. So, hiring one can work wonders for your business.
Getting Your Readers to Buy Your Idea Without You Even Selling It To Them
Give A Gift In Exchange for Their Contact Details
Give away something of value to your clients (like tutorials and seminars, e-magazines and the like) and then ask for their contact details (email addresses will suffice for now). They will be more than willing to part with that information after the free gift or information.
Once you have their email addresses, you can keep in touch with them every now and then and send them alerts on new posts, new products and services that you offer, but do not sell it to them, just inform them about the news.
Slowly but surely, you will get into their minds through your emails, and they will buy from you eventually.
Do not actually sell, but post content of people who bought your product
Post testimonials of people who were touched by your product and whose lives were benefited greatly by doing so.
The more people that attest to the truthfulness of your product, the more people will be convinced by their testimonies. Call it mob mentality, but it works.
Tell them Who You Are And Where You Came From
Tell your would-be clients about how your business began and how it has grown over the years. Include interesting stories about you and your life. This humanizes your website, and endears it to readers.
By telling you readers about your climb to success, they will be inspired or at least convinced of your sincerity, and getting their trust is like getting your foot in the door.
Selling need not be straight out salesmanship. Sometimes all it takes is a free gift, a testimonial, or even a gut-wrenching story.
Any more ideas on How you can sell your product discretely?

Get you site to the top of Google , Yahoo , Bing
Guaranteed Top 10 Rankings in Google, Yahoo, Bing - If You Don't Rank, You Don't Pay!
Are you tired of wasting time and money hoping that one day your website will be amongst the ranks of those that scatter page one?Does it make you angry that your competitors leave you in a position that makes it almost pointless for you to try to compete?
Don't you wish that your site brought you more business, more sales, more targeted traffic?
Are you sick of throwing money down the drain on useless pay-per-click campaigns that never seem to bring you the targeted visitors you so desperately seek?
Do you want to reach the customers that have money in hand and are ready to buy as long as you can direct them?
If you answered YES to all of these questions, or even some of them, I have a solution for you. Whether you know it or not, your website will keep suffering from meager traffic and poor sales unless you do something about it. Do you know why your competitors constantly beat you to the punch and rake in all the money you wish you could make? Do you know why your competitors could care less about your PPC campaigns and how much you try to out-bid them for your keywords? It's because they have the power of SEO on their side
You better believe that the people who have sites sitting in the top spots of page one had a strategy for getting there. It can happen naturally by a stroke of luck if you're not in a very competitive market, but if you're out to make money, then someone else is doing the same. Most of the keywords you want to rank for will require more than luck...it will take some serious skill.
So, what are you going to do about it? You could easily just sit there and say that you can't afford to hire someone to do SEO for your website, and your competition will continue to keep you down. Or, you could just be smart about the situation and hire me.
I only offer one package at this time and I will only accept clients that meet certain criteria. The services offered include the following:
- A comprehensive website analysis to determine how well your site has been optimized and to pinpoint those areas which need improvement
- An in-depth keyword analysis to assess the relevancy, usage frequency, and competition of your target keywords
- Initial competitor analysis to identify how well your competitors have optimized their sites and to assess the difficulty of improving the rank of your site
- On page optimization suggestions that will help to make your site more accessible and receptive to the search engines
- Off page optimization strategies to increase your website's search engine popularity and visibility
- Campaign monitoring and weekly reporting
To be considered as a client, your target keywords (up to 3) should have no more than 2.5 million competing sites. That is my ONLY requirement for accepting your website. My fee for retainer is $149, and upon reaching page one for your target keywords, the balance due is $200. Should I fail to rank your site on page one within 60 days, you pay nothing.
Please keep in mind that I operate on a no-compete basis which means that I will only take one client for any particular keyword. So, if client A wants keywords 1, 2, and 3, and client B comes along asking for the same, they will be turned away. It's unfair of me to do such a thing, and I would rather lose out on business than have unhappy customers any day.
If you would like to try my services, please send a PM with your interest. If you become a client, you will be given a private email and instant messenger for contact. Payments are accepted via PayPal, and I am limiting the number of clients I take to 5 at this time.

Use Keywords Effectively to Boost Your Rankings
However, one thing that people don't seem to grasp is keywords and how to target them effectively. Instead, they think that just by writing a post or article with a catchy title they will flourish and get their respective post or article ranked highly in the search engine.
Over the past few months I've conducted a lot of article marketing work, and quickly progressed learning several things that pertain entirely to keywords and how they are used, an outcome which resulted in huge surges in traffic.
1) Longtails: I always prefer to target the longtail keywords related to my niche. They are far easier to rank for with a lot less competition. I needn't spend ages writing out articles, digging them, building links to them etc, I can simply produce the article and have it ranking on the first page of Google within 3-4 hours. I think of it as picking the lower hanging fruit, it may not taste as good, but there's far more of it and added up gives far more traffic then targeting a short tail keyword.
2) Titles, Metas and URL: You must use your keyword in your title, meta tags and urls. These are what the search engines primarily feed off in order to index your articles or posts in the right place. I've found that use of the keyword first followed by a | or - and additional arbitrary text like "Get it for FREE" is the best way to go for titles. Likewise, try and use the keyword first in your meta's as well.
3) Post or Article Uniqueness: Despite all the myths and theories of the keyword density required for your post or article to get ranked highly and all the responses to such theorems, I've built my own conclusion. It doesn't matter what penalties incur, it's simply a question of whether or not it affects your rankings. In my honest opinion it definitely does have an effect on rankings, however use of a simple spinner will set that right. I prefer to use PAR (Power Article Rewriter) which is brilliant as it uses the spinner syntax "{word1|word2}".
4) Bolding and Headers: Bolding and headers are another way to use your keywords effectively. Try to include a h1 tag of your keyword somewhere in the article (preferably at the beginning) and tags where the keyword is dispersed throughout the article. Don't overdo it, but doing it a fair amount definitely helps.
I think that amount sums it up. Here's a little equation to show you the outcome of my article/posting efforts.
Number of articles: 40
Unique articles: 2
Article rewrites with PAR: 19 x 2
Time required for article rewrites: 20 minutes
Time required to post to directory: 1 hour 20 minutes
Uniques a day: 500-600.

2) Later on, I submitted these articles to 20 other Article directories. I spun some articles but mostly were the same
3) Created backlinks via blog commenting on mostly on-niche pages with PR1+ .
4) Created a small link wheel consisting of 4-5 web2.0 pages.
5) Ping every page with my link on.
6) Last but not least. PATIENCE

Is It Smart To Use Long Tail Keyword?
Keyword invaluable part of Search Engine Optimization, everything the search engine optimizer does goes around the keyword. Keywords can be classified into two main categories, the short tail keywords and the long tail keywords. The term ‘long tail’ was coined by Chris Anderson. He used it to describe the strategy of targeting less-competitive niche markets rather than the hugely competitive short keywords. A long tail keyword is like targeting a keyword "Web Design in Los Angeles" while short tail keyword would target "Web Design" only.
The Long tail keywords are those three and four keyword phrases which are very, very specific to whatever you are offering. Short tail keywords are good, in fact they are great but market on short tail keyword is so saturated and the competition is very, very tough. If you were to target short tail keywords, you will be competing with websites who has years of conversion data, an older trusted site, tons of content, and thousands of organic inbound links. Try to beat them right from the start for the most potent high-value keywords and you will likely fail.
If you are newly launched website and try to compete on the competitive keyword first, you are likely to rank in page 2 or page 3 or farther. And it is a common knowledge that less 1% of internet users goes beyond the page 2 of the search result. The visitors you might get would not be self-sustaining and your online business will be sent into its natural death just like thousands of websites before you. Meanwhile, long tail keywords have less competition, and are thus far easier to rank to. For instance the keyword “web design” returns about 318,000,000 search results and you will be competing against sites like Wikipedia and sites that was "there" maybe before you born. But if you target "Web design in Los Angeles" you have less competition with barely 43,900,000 competitions. Plus you can rank for long tail keywords much faster, because you control your on page optimization.
Another benefit of long tail keywords is that the visitors that came in through long tail keywords have high conversion rates and ad clicks. According market research, whenever a customer uses a highly specific search phrase, they tend to be looking for exactly what they are actually going to buy. In virtually every case, such very specific searches are far more likely to convert to sales than general generic searches that tend to be geared more toward the type of research that consumers typically do prior to making a buying decision. When your business becomes self-sufficient and you have build a revenue stream, you can eventually target for more competitive and more valuable keywords. By focusing on the second tier and third tier keywords first, you enable yourself an opportunity to earn the exposure needed to rank for the core keywords. It is long and tedious process, but eventually you could get theresource from http://claremontdesign.com/
